The Motive Driver App offers a convenient solution for recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your iPhone or iPad with ease. It ensures compliance with FMCSA regulations, including Part 395, and can assist both fleets and individual commercial drivers in meeting their obligations under the ELD mandate. The app also supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service regulations.

By connecting the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway device via Bluetooth, you can maintain compliance through an electronic logging device (ELD). The app proactively alerts you when you are nearing your maximum driving time, helping you avoid Hours of Service violations. Additionally, it provides a clear display of your total hours worked for the week as well as your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day.

The Motive Driver App has a useful Inspection Mode that allows you to share ELD logs with an officer during roadside inspections without compromising your privacy as a driver.

With regard to tracking and telematics, the app automatically shares GPS location data with the Motive Fleet Dashboard, keeping dispatchers and fleet managers up to date on stops and arrivals.

For driver safety, you can review Motive Dashcam videos and safety events to gain a better understanding of your driving performance. The app also provides you with a DRIVE risk score, allowing you to compare your performance against Motive's extensive vehicle network.

In terms of dispatch and workflow management, the app helps you confirm and receive assigned dispatches, view important load details, manage tasks for active deliveries, and easily review past dispatches. Additionally, you can message your fleet manager or dispatcher directly through the Motive Driver App and upload important documents such as bills of lading or accident photos.

The app includes a maintenance feature that enables you to complete pre-trip and post-trip driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) for easy defect reporting and tracking.

For sustainability purposes, you can upload fuel receipts to generate fuel reports in the Motive Fleet Dashboard.

Furthermore, the app offers 24/7 support through a friendly customer service team that can be reached by phone or email.
